POST 28/317 : ACCOUNTING CLERK: DEBT MANAGEMENT REF NO; TPW 67/2021
SALARY : R173 703 per annum (Level 05)
CENTRE : Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government
REQUIREMENTS :
Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification) with Accounting as apassed subject; A minimum of 6 months experience in a Debt Managementenvironment; A valid code B driving licence. Competencies: Knowledge andunderstanding of the following: Government Motor Transport (GMT) policies;National Treasury Regulations, Provincial Treasury Instructions; PublicFinance Management Act, Financial procedures; Fleet Management System;GRAP Directives relevant to Debt Management; Skills needed: Financialreporting; Systematic approach; Numerical; Proven computer literacy; Writtenand verbal communication; Analytical thinking.
DUTIES :
Process all collection of revenue administration and follow-up on outstandingdebt; Update and maintain the customer database; Draw documentation andhandle debtor administration, audit queries and reports; Responsible forreversing and adjusting of claims; Administer the monthly kilometer readingsof vehicles.
