South African Civil Aviation ("SACAA'') Public Notice:
INVITATION FOR SMALL, MEDIUM AND MICRO ENTERPRISES (SMMEs} IN THE GAUTENG PROVINCE TO REGISTER ON THE SACAA SMME DATABASE
The SACAA is developing an Enterprise Development Programme (EDP). The EDP is the process of developing small or medium-sized companies and is an economic development strategy that is underpinned by building Small, Medium , and Micro-sized Enterprises (SMMEs), and integrating them into competitive markets that are stronger and more inclusive. Enterprise development is achieved by monetary and non-monetary, recoverable and non-recoverable contributions, initiated in favour of a beneficiary entity by a measured entity, with the specific objective of assisting or accelerating the development, sustainability and ultimate financial independence of the beneficiary.
The SACAA , as part of its Enterprise Supplier Development Plan mandate , seeks to assist enterprises with both financial and non-financial resources. In order to better coordinate this programme, the SACAA has resolved to develop a central database of all SMMEs operating within the Gauteng Province.
To this end, all SMMEs are invited to register on the SACAA database and must comply with all the requirements listed in the table below: Requirements for Registration.
Document(s) / Requirement(s) / Proof required
- The SMME must reside and operate primarily within the Gauteng Province.
- The SMME must be an existing company and company forms in support of its registration must be attached.
- The focus will be on companies owned by individuals from the following demographical groups: BLACK, WOMEN, YOUTH AND DISABLED and representatives of the aforementioned groups are thus encouraged to register.
- An updated Central Supplier Database (CSD) report.
- Completed and signed SBD4 form (Supplier declaration of Interest form).
- Proof of banking details (not older than three (3) months).
- Certified identity copies of all directors or shareholders.
- Certified copy of B-BBEE certificate or DTI affidavit or EME certificate.
- Detailed company profile.
NB: All the above documents should be submitted with your response. The SACAA will reserve the right to contact the potential suppliers for any missing documents.
THE CLOSING DATE AND TIME: 03 SEPTEMBER 2021@ 11: 00 AM
NB: All submissions must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked "REGISTRATION ON THE SACAA SMME DATABASE".
Place of Submission: lkhaya Lokundiza, Building 16, Treur Close, Waterfall Park, Bekker Street, Mid rand, and the submission should be deposited in a Tender Box situated in the foyer.
NO FAXED, E-MAILED OR LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
