POST 29/263 : ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: PLANNING & COMMISSIONING UNIT

SALARY : R376 596 per annum

CENTRE : Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital

REQUIREMENTS :

Minimum educational qualification: Appropriate 3-year NationalDiploma/Degree. Experience: Appropriate experience in the various facets ofinfrastructure development and project management. Competencies(knowledge/skills): Knowledge and understanding of hospital systems,procedures and protocols. Communication skills (written and verbal) in at leasttwo of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literacy (MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to function effectively as part of a teamand independently. Knowledge of lines of communication within Western CapeGovernment.

DUTIES :

Co-ordinate and facilitate the planning of infrastructure projects. Co-ordinate,facilitate and monitor the progress of all projects to completion. Maintain thereference library of all hospital plans and associated documents. Managementof the allocation of space on the Hospital premises.
