POST 29/103 : DIRECTOR: BATHO PELE, CHANGE MANAGEMENT AND SDIP REF NO:DPSA 25/2021
SALARY :
R1 057 326 per annum (Level 13). The all-inclusive remunerative packageconsists of basic salary (70% of the total remuneration package), the State’scontribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund (13% of basic salary)and a flexible portion that may be structured according to personal needs withina framework.

REQUIREMENTS :
A Senior Certificate, an appropriate B. Degree in Public Administration orequivalent qualification at NQF 7. A pre-entry certificate for SMS must becompleted before an appointment can be considered. Minimum of 5 years’ ata Middle/Senior Management level. At least a minimum 10 years appropriateexperience. Sound knowledge of the Constitution of the Republic of SouthAfrica, Government legislative framework, Public Service legislative and policyframework, Government programs such as the National Development Plan,Key Strategic priorities of Government and sound understanding of operationsmanagement. Technical Skills: Policy Development and Service Deliverytheory and practice, Programme and Project implementation and Monitoringand Evaluation. Managerial Skills: Decision making, problem solving, writtenand verbal communication, stakeholder management and coordination,strategic thinking and leadership, analytical skills, good interpersonal relations,team work, confidentiality, financial management, human resourcemanagement, research, change management, project and programmanagement. DUTIES :
Manage and strengthen the implementation, monitoring and review of theBatho Pele policy, the Change Management framework and Service DeliveryImprovement initiatives. Support the implementation of the new strategies tostrengthen the implementation of the Batho Pele Policy, the ChangeManagement programme and the Service Delivery Improvement programmewith specific focus on the development of implementation standards. Managethe monitoring of Batho Pele policy, Change Management programme and theService Delivery Improvement programme’s implementation and complianceby national and provincial departments. Manage the compliance andaccountability of Batho Pele; Change Management and Service DeliveryImprovement implementation mechanisms. Manage the development ofsystems and tools for the implementation and monitoring of compliance to theBatho Pele based standards; Change Management; and Service DeliveryImprovement Plans by National and Provincial Departments. Manage theimplementation of the annual National Batho Pele Excellence Awards. Provideannual progress reports on all the KRAs to the Director General.
