POST 28/42 : LABOUR RELATIONS OFFICER REF NO: 33/20/NC/RO
SALARY : R316 791 – R373 167 per annum. The successful candidate will be requiredto sign a performance agreement.
CENTRE : Regional Office: Northern Cape
REQUIREMENTS :
An appropriate three (3) years National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree orequivalent qualification in Labour Relations / Human Resource Management;
Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in Labour Relations work. In depthknowledge and understanding of all relevant Human Resources Legislationsand policies; Registered at South African Board for People Practice will be anadded advantage; A valid driver’s license. Skills and competencies: Problemsolving skills; Planning, organizing and time management; Excellent verbal andwritten communications skills including negotiation and diplomacy; Policyanalysis and development; Research analysis; Ability to operate Microsoftoffice programmes effectively; Ability to work under pressure and peoplemanagement
DUTIES :
Key Performance Areas: Represent the employer in disciplinary andmisconduct matters; Represent the department during disputes resolutionprocess; Coordinate investigation of grievance cases;; Liaise with LegalServices on litigation matters; Provide support in the management of strikes;Conduct and provide labour relations advice and awareness.
