SALARY : R733 257 – R863 748 per annum, (All inclusive remuneration package). Thesuccessful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.

REQUIREMENTS :

A recognized National Diploma/Degree in Financial Management or equivalentqualification; A minimum of five (5) years (Is this in line with the Profile?)relevant experience in a financial accounting/management environment, ofwhich at least three (3) years must be at management level (AssistantDirector); A sound knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act andNational Treasury Regulations; Extensive knowledge of the Department ofJustice and Constitutional Development and its Third Party functions andservices; Knowledge of GRAP/GAAP, trust Account; A valid driver’s license.Skills and Competencies: Strategic management; Communication (verbal andwritten); Project and financial management; Planning and organizing (includingtime management); Presentation and facilitation skills; Diversity management;Computer literacy (MS Office); Ability to work under pressure and meetdeadlines; Accuracy and attention to detail.

DUTIES :

Key Performance Areas: Manage financial operations of Third Party Funds;Manage, monitor and support Region on Third Party Fund matters; ProvideTraining and on-site support to trainees within the Region on monthlymonitoring and reporting of TPF’s, Justice Deposit Account System (JDSA)and compilation and consolidation of Regional Annual Financial Statements;Provide effective people management; Assist in the compilation of TPFFinancial Statements; Audit facilitation and verification of managementcomments; Provide inputs on any improvements in financial systems,processes and procedures.
