POST 28/35 : FAMILY ADVOCATE LP 7/8 REF NO: 91/2021/FA/WC (X2 POSTS)
SALARY : R763 212 – R1 266 156 per annum. (Salary will be in accordance with OSDdetermination). (The successful candidate will be required to sign aperformance agreement)
CENTRE : Office of the Family Advocate, Cape Town
REQUIREMENTS :
An LLB Degree or recognized four (4) year legal qualification; At least five (5)years appropriate post qualification litigation experience; Admission as anAdvocate; Skills and Competencies: Good communication skills, both verbaland writing; Research, investigation, monitoring, evaluation and report writingskills and Diversity, Dispute and Conflict Resolutions Skills.
DUTIES :
Key Performance Areas: Perform all functions and duties of the FamilyAdvocate in accordance with relevant legislation; Attend to Hague matterswhen delegated to do so; Endorse settlement agreements or commentingthereof; Institute and conduct enquiries to ascertain the best interest of childrenby means of ADR procedure; Attend to all relevant circuit courts within WesternCape.
